As their manager said, getting these Visas to tour the US was a difficult process that took @etrandelair a year. Unfortunately, it's harder for artists from Africa to tour here. The Turf Club was packed with an energetic audience- so l'm confident they knew their efforts were appreciated. 😉

While waiting at the gas station recently, I noticed the fresh snow still clinging to the wing mirrors of the car. As I looked closer, a simple photographic composition started to emerge. There was the ice vendor's machine in the background, the powdery snow all around us, and a snowy blue star on the building for our "L'étoile du Nord" (yes, the only state with a motto in French is Minnesota). Time for a quick selfie!
